Team,

We fought and worked hard to make sure reproductive rights are protected in Michigan’s Constitution. But that won’t stop Republicans from passing a national abortion ban and ripping away all of our progress.

Republicans know that abortion is a top issue for voters this year, which is why some Republicans running for Michigan’s open U.S. Senate seat are trying to distance themselves from their anti-abortion record.

Mike Rogers claims he won’t support a national abortion ban that is “inconsistent” with Michigan’s law, but we know better. Rogers is on record supporting Dobbs, which overturned Roe v. Wade. He’s also on record saying he’s “been a pro-life candidate my entire career.” The list of his anti-abortion goes on and on because he spent his political career trying to take away reproductive rights every step of the way.

The Michigan Democratic Party is working around the clock to remind voters that Republicans like Mike Rogers have a long list of anti-abortion actions. No matter what they say, they are a danger to us all.

The only way we can protect Michigan from a national abortion ban is to send a Democrat to the U.S. Senate.

I am counting on you to stand with us so we can get these Republicans’ anti-abortion records in front of as many voters as possible before Election Day. Will you make a contribution today to fuel our work?
