TrevorLIVE
Hi Friend,

I hope you are staying healthy and safe during this time. As you know, many things are uncertain right now because of COVID-19 — and because of that uncertainty, I’m writing to update you that we have made the incredibly difficult decision to cancel our TrevorLIVE NY gala.

Originally slated for June 15, TrevorLIVE celebrates our ongoing work to save young LGBTQ lives for 22 years. The gala is also an opportunity for us to elevate the voices and struggles of the LGBTQ youth we serve nationwide, and to recognize the hard work of the people who support them every day. TrevorLIVE raises awareness of our mission, and the critical funds that enable us to achieve that mission: to operate our 24/7 suicide prevention and crisis intervention services for LGBTQ youth.

We know this may be disappointing to many, but we want to reassure you that we will continue to support LGBTQ youth 24/7. Young people don’t stop experiencing crises during pandemics; in fact, our volume of crisis contacts has never been higher, and LGBTQ youth are reaching out for support around their anxieties about coronavirus. Even in the face of COVID-19, we are fully equipped to continue our direct services remotely, and without interruption for the youth who need us.

As we support LGBTQ youth through COVID-19 and beyond, we need your help to continue providing our direct services remotely, and without interruption for the youth who need us.

Just by being a part of our online community, you’re helping us reach more LGBTQ youth. And though we know that we are all facing challenges right now, the support of our family of donors makes Trevor’s work possible in times of crisis. Would you consider making a generous gift now to help us support the young people who need us now more than ever? Any amount you donate will provide the stability LGBTQ youth need right now:

Our services help decrease some of the stressors and anxieties that LGBTQ youth experience every day. With your help, we can continue and expand our work to ensure that all LGBTQ youth are never alone.

Thank you for being a valued part of the Trevor community, and for all you do to ensure LGBTQ youth know they are heard, loved, and supported 24/7.

In solidarity,
