Dear Friend,

The recent Easter work period provided the opportunity to participate in some great meetings with local businesses and elected officials. Read on to learn more...

We had the chance to meet with members of Minnesota Equipment and tour their facility in Rogers. Since 1916, Minnesota Equipment has provided Minnesotans access to the latest in commercial and residential landscaping equipment from brands like John Deere and Toro.

We also had the opportunity to meet with Howard Lake Police Officer Darek Szczepanik. As a School Resource Officer in the Howard Lake School District, Officer Szczepanik works every day to keep our schools and students safe. After the misguided policies impacting School Resource Officers that passed the state legislature last year, it is more important than ever that we stand up to support the brave men and women who keep our kids and schools safe.

Later, we sat down with Mayors Kirby Moynagh of Montrose and Connie Holmes of Waverly to discuss the latest in their respective cities and the ongoing infrastructure projects in their area.

Finally, we met with Monticello Mayor Lloyd Hilgart and members of the Monticello Chamber of Commerce to discuss their efforts to promote investment and job growth, as well as federal infrastructure funding opportunities in the area.

Regardless of what is happening in Washington D.C., our office is always working to put Minnesotans and the Sixth Congressional District first. If you ever have any concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our office, here.

Sincerely,
