This ban is a direct result of the overturning of Roe v. Wade. It is the result of the proliferation of the anti-choice extremist agenda. It is the result of the relentless attacks on our reproductive healthcare rights by MAGA Republicans — like Gabe's anti-choice opponent Yvette Herrell.

MAGA Republicans like Yvette Herrell are entirely out of touch with New Mexicans and the American people. They'd rather continue to launch attacks on our rights and freedoms, making an abortion ban dating back to 1864 (yes, you read that right) enforceable — than protect the rights of the Americans they're meant to represent.
