Dear Friend,
We all deserve to live in a healthy and thriving community. That includes having access to clean air, pure water, and a sustainable economy.
Tell Congress to act now to move us closer to climate justice!
At the risk of their well-being, livelihoods, and human rights, activists have made progress in working for climate justice. But much more remains to be done. And today, elected officials are considering harmful policies. These policies would prioritize profits over human needs, gut environmental protections, and reverse progress.
We cannot stand by as our communities pay the price for corporate greed. We need domestic and international solutions that benefit people who shoulder the greatest impacts of climate change: low-income people, the working class, communities of color, and other marginalized groups worldwide.
That's why elected officials must hear from all of us today. Please join us in sending a message. Urge your representatives to prioritize the well-being of our communities and address climate change.
In peace,
Cole McEldowney
Global Policy Coordinator for Economic and Climate Justice
