I joined the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA) in January 2023 as the Administrator of the new Minnesota Veterans Home in Montevideo. What an exciting time in MDVA?s history to join this agency. It has truly been an honor to serve Veterans in the community where I was raised.
In my first year with MDVA, I?ve had the opportunity to tour several of the State Veterans Homes, State Veterans Cemeteries and learn about our many programs and services. The smiles, stories and gratitude shared during those visits by many Veteran Residents and the genuine care, dedication and excitement our team members expressed regarding their work was uplifting and energizing.
In Montevideo, as both our team and Resident census grows, we hope to replicate the great work, culture and environment noted throughout our agency. Our agency is growing and thriving and it?s a wonderful time for others to consider joining.
