Dear friend,
A joyful Easter greeting to you and yours! Christ is risen indeed!
Since I started at The Living Church, I have met so many of you – in Virginia, Dallas, London, Nashville, Orlando, New York City, Georgia, Ohio, Albany, and Houston, to name just a few places. And it has been one of the deepest joys of my work!
Relational encounters are opportunities to know the grace of our risen Lord. We cannot commit to the health and unity of the Church if we don’t love people.
New life has come to TLC through faithful people. We have been delighted to welcome a new executive and business administrator, Candace Holtzen, whose remarkable gifts have further ordered our business and financial life. Our former intern, Bonnie Scott, has become our new associate editor for products. You’ll see her work in Daily Devotions, The Living Word preaching resource, Illuminations for lectors, and Living Church Books, which will see two new volumes this year.
There are so many exciting encounters on the docket in 2024 and 2025. Look for new conferences and events in Oklahoma City, Louisville, St. Louis, California, and Pennsylvania. Christopher Wells and I will be leading an intellectual pilgrimage in Rome during the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in January 2025.
Support The Living Church's multi-faceted publishing ministry with a gift during this Easter season >
General Convention is just around the corner. Our team is poised to provide the one voice of independent journalism in the Episcopal Church. At the same time, we will unveil a new website that will be fulsome, beautiful, and easier to use.
Your gift this Eastertide shows your support for Christian relationships, faithfulness to our common inheritance of faith, and the health of the Episcopal Church and Anglican Communion. Will you support TLC this Easter?
Yours in hope and in the risen Christ,
