I’ve updated my short list of reasons why your support matters in this race. Will you read on?

1. We need to build upon the coalition of pro-science, pro-choice, pro-democracy voters that helped us cross the finish line in our Democratic Primary.


2. We’re running out of time to act on climate change. We can’t lose precious time to another two or four years of right-wing rule. If you like living on a livable planet, then help elect a Democratic majority in November.


3. Republicans can call on gun manufacturers and the fossil fuel industry to bankroll their campaigns. I, on the other hand, count on folks like you to keep this grassroots campaign running.


4. Cutting through right-wing B.S. and debunking MAGA lies isn’t easy or cheap, but someone’s gotta do it.


5. Experts anticipate record-breaking GOP turnout with Trump on the ballot in November. The sooner we start mobilizing a historic Democratic majority, the better.


6. If our fundraising is lackluster compared to last cycle, it’ll signal to national Republicans that this district is flippable. They’ll flood this district with right-wing money and make winning this race even more costly and difficult.

Long story short, your $6 is a BIG deal – for me here in IL-06, and for Democrats across the country. For all these reasons and more, can I count on you to pitch in?
