Donald Trump and his party of extremist MAGA Republicans have taken credit for overturning Roe v. Wade and continue to criminalize health care providers who provide life-saving procedures.

In just his first term in Congress, my opponent Anthony D’Esposito voted on bills alongside extremist House Republicans that chip away at women’s constitutional freedoms and deny them access to essential reproductive care.

We must flip this seat blue in November to break the pattern and take back the Democratic House majority. In Congress, I will be a champion for reproductive rights and work to codify Roe v. Wade and advance legislation that protects and expands bodily autonomy and women’s rights to make their own healthcare choices. But I can’t do this without your support because what happens on Long Island will determine whether Democrats can take back the House and fight for what’s right.
