Friend, remember the good ole' days of... 1864?

Yeah, me neither.

*Want to make a call?* Wait 12 years.

*Want to drive a car?* Wait 22 years.

*Want to vote if you’re a woman?* Wait 56 years.

*Want a credit card?* Wait 86 years. If you’re a woman, wait 110 years.

*Want Arizona to be a U.S. state?* Wait 48 years.

But somehow, though not yet a state, Arizona *did* have a near-total ban on abortion in 1864.

And now, 160 years later, thanks to its far-right extremist state Supreme Court, that’s the law of the state again.

(Not “*again*” — Arizona wasn’t a state back then, remember?)

**So welcome back to 1864, Arizona.** We will be collecting your cell phones, cars, voting rights, credit cards, and statehood as soon as possible.

**Because it’s 1864 in America if we all don’t fight back.**
