From the time I fled Colombia at the age of 17 when my father was kidnapped by Marxist guerillas, I’ve been a fighter. That resilience and determination fueled my career as a small business owner and your State Senator. It will fuel my approach to stewarding the County’s nearly $12 billion budget as your Clerk and Comptroller.
From the joyful couple eagerly obtaining their marriage license to those seeking to resolve landlord and tenant disputes, so many residents rely on our Courts for essential services. The Clerk of Court and Comptroller ensures that we not only deliver these services but also protect taxpayer dollars and I am ready for the job.
