Just a few hours ago, the Arizona Supreme Court decided to uphold one of the most extreme and dangerous abortion bans in the country.

The abortion ban -- first enacted before Arizona was even a state -- effectively outlaws abortion in the state of Arizona, even in cases of rape and incest.

As President Biden said, “This ruling is a result of the extreme agenda of Republican elected officials who are committed to ripping away women’s freedom.”

But they are not alone.

This is the vision for America that Trump and many Republicans want. The Republican Party's candidate for Senate in Arizona, Kari Lake, has supported this extreme ban in the past. And Trump proudly laid the groundwork for this and other extreme abortion bans during his presidency.

The question now is: What do we do about it?

The answer is we need to elect a president, a Congress, and Democrats everywhere who support the right to reproductive freedom.
