As the parent to a 7-year-old, I know braces are out there somewhere on the horizon, and they are not gonna be cheap. But today, Samm Davidson is enlightening me about just how expensive they truly are: “Orthodontics came in fast and hot at my house this winter, like a financial nuclear bomb that I didn’t even see coming,” she writes. “While there are a lot of future decisions to be made, one thing is very clear: this sh*t is expensive as hell!”
