Did you know that scientists are finding plastics inside our fruits and vegetables? If you’re wondering how this happens, it’s because about 90% of microplastics in our waste stream end up in sewage sludge, which is widely used as a crop fertilizer. Microplastics in sludge are so tiny the roots of plants then take them up. Scary stuff!

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) recently announced that they would sue to
