Jack, last week, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said that President Biden was "a much worse threat to democracy" than Donald Trump. The statement was so absurd that Kennedy later walked it back. Just a couple of days later, Kennedy's campaign had to disavow an email it sent, in which January 6 insurrections were referred to as "activists sitting in a Washington DC jail cell stripped of their Constitutional liberties."
We can't stop Kennedy from spouting this nonsense, but we can make him pay for the frivolous lawsuit that he brought against Daily Kos in 2021. That's why I'm writing to you today.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s frivolous lawsuit has cost Daily Kos hundreds of thousands of dollars since 2021. Now, he wants it dismissed. We're fighting to make him pay back every cent he cost us. Donate $5 right now so we can continue this fight in court and recoup the expenses of this nearly three-year legal battle.

If you're somehow lucky enough enough to have never heard of Kennedy, here's what you need to know:
- Kennedy is a prominent anti-vaxxer who's been called a "quack" and "healthcare menace" by CNN.
- Anti-vaccine hysteria during the pandemic shot Kennedy from the fringes into the mainstream and he became one of the greatest sources of vaccine disinformation on the internet.
- Kennedy's work has earned him the condemnation of several members of his own family.
- That work brought him to Germany, where he appeared at a rally that included far-right extremists and Neo-Nazis.
- A pseudonymous Daily Kos community posted a translation of a German news story about that rally, leading Kennedy to sue us to unmask the writer.
- Daily Kos fought Kennedy in court in two states and through appeals, which has cost us a huge amount of money at a time when news outlets are under enormous financial pressure.
- Last year, Kennedy jumped into the presidential race after being wooed by Trump mastermind Steven Bannon. Soon after, Tucker Carlson became one of Kennedy's biggest cheerleaders.
- Now, Kennedy wants the case he brought against us dismissed, but we're continuing to fight because we think he should have to pay back what his frivolous suit cost us. That means we need to pay a bit more now for the chance to get everything we lost back.
Make Robert F. Kennedy Jr. pay for the frivolous lawsuit he brought against Daily Kos—literally! Support Daily Kos with a $5 donation today.
