What Does It Mean to Have Pure Blood?

But this isn't just about unvaccinated folks who survived COVID having a code name.

They don't want any chance that their so-called pure blood gets mixed up with any part of a COVID vaccine.

How would that happen if they aren't vaccinated?

But couldn't we test for vaccinated blood and create a separate donor blood supply if we wanted to?

What would you test for?

You are probably thinking mRNA from the COVID vaccines ( [link removed] ) , but this is quickly broken down. Despite what some anti-vaccine folks say, this mRNA ( [link removed] ) is broken down in a few days and doesn't stick around for weeks or months in our blood.

But what about the studies that find mRNA after COVID vaccination after weeks or months? These are leftover mRNA fragments and won't work to make spike proteins or anything else.

Myths about the Dangers of Vaccinated Blood

Should you have any concern about vaccinated blood?

Of course not, blood is blood, and our blood supply is well screened to make sure it is safe.
