COVID-19 has taken our country by storm. In a matter of weeks more people are working from home, children are learning from home, we've been asked to stay at our place of residence, and extended families are kept at arm's length.

Although you may feel a little out of touch with our normal social circles, we do have a way to keep you in touch with what you need to know during this pandemic. We have created a one-stop-shop for you to stay up-to-date on all Coronavirus information for our state.

Community Begins with Us

Last week we launched the Columbus Community Response Network and the Gwinnett County Response Network Facebook Groups. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we've seen businesses offer free services, neighbors come together to help each other, and organizations stretch all resources to help those in need. However, we learned there was a need for a central communication point for organizations and businesses to communicate out of the public ear-shot in order to collaborate and meet the needs of the community.

Using Facebook Groups, we were able to create that conversation space for community members and leaders to have an opportunity to share resources, ask questions, and connect as like-minded groups to create stronger communities. There is strength in numbers and we want the community to start with us.
