The Delaware Blue Coats partnered with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield to host a Mental Health Awareness Night on February 11. Bethany kicked off the game and showed off her percussion skills by hitting the team’s starting drum! For one night, the Blue Coats became the “Purple Coats,” wearing limited-edition jerseys that were auctioned to support Delaware Goes Purple. It was a great way to raise awareness about the mental health resources available in the First State.[link removed] [[link removed]]

Bethany met with the National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 906 on March 13. A proud card-carrying union member herself, Bethany loved hearing about the essential work they do. With an election coming, it is especially crucial to ensure access to voting and democracy for all Delawareans, and we couldn’t do it without our tireless NALC members!

On March 22, Bethany attended Amate Mujer at La Escondida Banquet Hall, an event to recognize the work and contribution of Latina leaders and innovators across Delaware. A wonderful night full of delicious food, inspiring stories, and incredible women who have built a one-of-a-kind community right here in Delaware.

With spring in full swing and just five months left until the primary, Bethany will be hitting the road more and more to connect with the people and communities that make our home such a wonderful and vibrant place.
