Earlier today, the Arizona Supreme Court decided to enforce a law from 1864 that will impose a near-total ban on abortion without exceptions for rape and incest on the people of Arizona.
Millions of Arizonans just lost rights that their grandmothers and mothers were born with.
This ban is the endgame for people like Kari Lake, Donald Trump, national Republicans and the MAGA-right. And the only way we’ll be able to push back on their efforts to pass a national ban on abortion is at the ballot box.
This November, Arizona will decide whether Kari Lake or Ruben Gallego goes to the Senate. If Ruben wins Arizona we are that much closer to holding the Senate. And we need control in the Senate to stop any attempt at a national ban on abortion.
We need Ruben in the Senate because he is a critical vote on any legislation that will protect the right to an abortion.
