I am angry, John.
Last week, our district’s supposed representative drove over 150 miles across the state to Grand Rapids to stand with a guy who has been spewing hate and rage -- all using our hard-earned tax dollars.
John James went out of his way to smile silently behind a man as he called immigrants “animals” and added that, “they're not people, in my opinion.”
John James puts his finger in the wind to see which way it is blowing. Right now, as divisiveness rips communities apart he is cozying up to hate — to a fraud who thinks Putin is a great leader, and that the people who attacked our Capitol are hostages!
John James doesn’t have the backbone to stand up for ANYTHING, to call out bigotry, or to tell his king, Donald Trump, he has no clothes on. But he wants you to believe these next two years will be different when we need honest leadership now.
I am angry and sick of this, and I know you are too. But we don’t have to stand on the sidelines and let history roll over us. Every day, I get up and am working my tail off because we deserve better!
