Over the last few years we’ve been able to help elect a growing, dynamic group of working families champions to Congress.
These victories — some against all odds — have built up our governing power as a movement and have had a real impact on people’s lives.
But this power that we are building together has not gone unnoticed. And over the next few weeks, some of our strongest champions in Congress will face their biggest challenges yet.
From now through November, the Working Families Party and our champions in Congress are going to face a barrage of attacks from Republican megadonors and their allies who have planned to spend more than $100 million in Democratic primaries to tear down what we are building — and ultimately to put MAGA back in full control of Congress and the White House.
We can’t afford to lose any ground to the right-wing at a moment like this. That’s why, this Thursday, we are joining members of the Squad and allies for a special livestream event to kick off our efforts to defend the progress we’ve fought so hard to win.
