<p><strong>Public comment&nbsp;is an essential part of any local government meeting. It&nbsp;is an opportunity for members of the&nbsp;public&nbsp;to inform the governing body about their views.</strong>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Whereas Auburn City Hall is currently closed to the public (due to precautions in place to fight the spread of COVID-19) and residents are&nbsp;unable to attend City Council meetings in person, we encourage residents to use one of the following methods to provide public comment.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Use the&nbsp;<a href="[link removed]" target="_blank"><strong>ELECTRONIC FORM</strong></a>&nbsp;provided on our website&nbsp;or</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Participate in the meeting via "<strong>ZOOM</strong>" [details below]</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p>Please be sure to include your name and address, along with your comment, whichever method you use.</p>

<p>ZOOM PARTICIPATION FOR PUBLIC COMMENT:</p>
<p>For the foreseeable future, Auburn&nbsp;City Council workshop and meeting will be conducted remotely using &ldquo;Zoom.&rdquo;&nbsp;The meeting will be broadcast as usual on Great Falls TV (cable channel 1302) and on the City of Auburn&nbsp;<a href="[link removed]">YouTube</a>&nbsp;channel.</p>
<p>If you wish to offer public comment during the meeting,&nbsp;you can &ldquo;attend&rdquo; the meeting via Zoom and speak during the public comment session.</p>

<p>After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. If you wish to speak, simply click &ldquo;Raise Hand&rdquo; in the webinar controls. You will be notified when it is your turn to speak. Be sure to &ldquo;Unmute&rdquo; yourself and speak clearly. All participants will be able to hear you. Video will not be&nbsp;enabled for parties offering public comments.&nbsp;</p>
