NY bans flavored e-cigs, sets example for other states amid COVID-19 crisis. Help take this nationwide. Make a contribution >>

BREAKING NEWS

John,

After nearly a year of hard work by our New York team and partners, the NY State Legislature just voted to end the sale of all flavored e-cigarettes! And Gov. Cuomo will sign it into law soon.

What's more, the legislation takes a comprehensive approach to reduce tobacco use by ending tobacco sales in pharmacies and banning tobacco coupons and other price discounts.

It's a historic victory for kids over the tobacco industry. And it provides a huge boost for our campaigns across the country to end the sale of flavored e-cigarettes and other flavored tobacco products.

This is especially timely because of mounting concerns that smokers and vapers are at higher risk of severe complications from COVID-19.

Victories like this one will save lives. Make a contribution today to help us continue the fight >>

With your support, we’ll keep fighting to stop tobacco companies from targeting kids with flavored products once and for all.

Big Tobacco is scared. And they're already starting to throw everything they have at us to make sure we don't succeed. Your support is vital right now.

Sincerely,

Kevin O'Flaherty
Director, Northeast Region
