Since coming to Congress, Kim has always made increasing public safety one of her top priorities.

That's why she's proud to secure over $2 million to help bolster critical public safety initiatives right here in WA-08. This funding will provide the King County Sheriff's Department with everything they need to invest in critical co-response teams, fund body cameras to promote transparency and officer safety, and increase their ability to process a backlog of untested DNA kits.
