We are thrilled to announce that Acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su will be joining us at our annual DC Spring Reception on Tuesday, May 21 from 6:00-8:00pm ET.
Acting Secretary Su has demonstrated consistent and courageous allyship for the LGBTQ+ community throughout her career. Since the fight to overturn Proposition 8, Acting Secretary Su has been proactive in ensuring that individuals are allowed to show up as themselves in the workplace. She has used her voice to help society understand that regardless of an individual's sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression, everyone is entitled to dignity, opportunity, and security.
The Williams Institute at UCLA School of Law is an academic research institute dedicated to conducting rigorous, independent research on sexual orientation and gender identity law and public policy.
