Every month, my team and I reach out to ask you to take our survey and
share what issues are top of mind for you at the moment. As California’s
Attorney General, your feedback is always important to me, so I look
forward to reading your responses.

Well, the March survey results are in, and I thought I’d share the top
three issues with you:

1. Gun violence prevention
2. Climate change and the environment
3. Affordable and accessible healthcare

These are three incredibly important issues impacting California’s
families and communities, and I want you to know I’m working hard to
address them. In the last few months alone, I have:

* Supported assault weapon and ghost gun bans along with tighter
restrictions on high-capacity magazines;
* Taken on the fossil fuel industry by supporting the EPA’s methane rule
and holding big polluters accountable for poisoning our air and water;
* Sponsored a bill to remove medical debt as a factor in calculating
consumers’ credit scores.

But there’s a whole lot more work to do to tackle these issues and so many
others impacting Californians, and I’m just getting started.
