Dear Friend, 

You help us give second chances every day and, today, we want to introduce you to two pets who are enjoying the love of a new home thanks to your support.   

Ruthie came to us from Chicago Animal Care & Control (CACC), so shy and scared that she didn’t even have the courage to eat. Although timid, we could tell right away that Ruthie wanted to let her walls down and leap into our laps. 

Ruthie is a perfect example of what the PAWS Chicago community strives to do every day—change pets’ lives. 

Ruthie has since transformed into a loving, playful, ball of energy ready to take on any adventure. With the help of PAWS trainers, volunteers, her loving foster, and LOTS of treats, Ruthie’s confidence skyrocketed, and she was adopted less than an hour after arriving at our Pippen Fasseas Adoption Center.

You are also the reason for Brandon finding a very special home! Brandon came to PAWS through our Community Outreach program, and we soon discovered he was in congestive heart failure at just 1 year old and may only have 12-18 months left to live.  

Quick to a lap and even quicker to love, Brandon deserved a home to spoil him. After seeing a news segment about him, a very special adopter came in to pack a lifetime of love into every one of Brandon’s days to come.  

We hope Ruthie and Brandon’s amazing stories make you as happy as they make us. Their new lives wouldn’t be possible without you!
