Hi Friend, it's Senator LaTonya Johnson.

Ever since I took office, fellow Democrats and I have been in an ongoing battle for better opportunities for all Wisconsinites.



Just a few months ago, a conversation about fair pay and inclusive education in Wisconsin sparked widespread attention.

Despite bipartisan support for pay raises for University of Wisconsin employees and funding for essential construction projects, these initiatives were blocked by the GOP who do not believe in the importance of having DEI efforts in colleges and universities.

This is just one example of a number of legislation blocked by Republicans. Friend, this is unacceptable, and it's time for action.

The SSDC is working to build a state that works for everyone, not just the privileged few, but they need your help to make a real difference in this critical election year.
