Friend,
On Thursday, I had the honor of hosting US Deputy Secretary of Energy David M. Turk here in Toledo, to announce a new $45 million investment in sustainable manufacturing at Libbey Glass, as well as a $16 million investment in the Kraft Heinz facility in Fremont.
It's part of the largest investment in industrial decarbonization in American history, which is happening thanks to the Biden administration and our Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Inflation Reduction Act.
Friend, I'm fighting every day to make sure these transformative investments come home to communities like ours. And that fight is paying off — funding like this is sparking an industrial renaissance in the Heartland, creating good jobs, strengthening local economies, and enhancing our energy and national security.
As long as I'm in Congress, I'll never stop fighting for our community. I'm grateful to have you with me.

Onward,
— Marcy
