Can I take a moment to introduce myself? My name is Bayley and I’m Bob Ferguson’s campaign manager in the race to elect the next Governor of Washington.
I started my career as an organizer with Planned Parenthood. Reproductive freedom is an issue I’m passionate about and one of the reasons why I wanted to join Bob’s campaign.
Bob has always fought to defend access to safe, legal abortion. Last year, he led a national effort that protected the availability of the abortion pill mifepristone — a huge victory for reproductive justice for millions of Washingtonians and people across the country.
Meanwhile, Bob’s anti-choice Republican opponent David Reichert voted for a national abortion ban and to ban all federal funding for Planned Parenthood when he was in Congress.
The stakes could not be higher. And our race is heating up, so you’ll be hearing from me more frequently. Inside Elections rated our race a “Battleground” and polls show a tight race with over 10% of voters still undecided.
We must have the resources to reach those critical undecided voters — and you’re a part of the team who will get it done.
