Hi Friend,

I know you care about the mental health and well-being of LGBTQ+ young people. Your commitment, interest, and support of The Trevor Project are proof.

Here’s a stark reality: 39% of LGBTQ+ young people seriously considered attempting suicide in the past year. Those who are transgender, nonbinary, and people of color reported even higher rates. Any number above 0% is too high.

The Trevor Project — and our community of supportive and affirming allies like you — are here to make sure that every LGBTQ+ young person who reaches out to us gets the support they deserve.

With your gift today, you can be the one to ensure that anyone who feels anxious, depressed, isolated, or overwhelmed has someone to turn to, day or night.

Friend, can Trevor count on your support today? ([link removed])

Trevor’s 24/7 crisis intervention program connects our dedicated, trained crisis counselors and volunteers to the LGBTQ+ young people who reach out. Our staff and volunteers listen to LGBTQ+ young people without judgment. They provide information for those who ask about local resources. And they de-escalate the level of suicide risk for the most vulnerable and help them to build a plan for continued safety.

Trevor’s suicide prevention programs promote LGBTQ+ young people’s mental health and wellbeing through:
* TrevorSpace, Trevor’s social media platform, which creates a safe and welcoming space for LGBTQ+ young people to interact
* Accurate and actionable research on the mental health of LGBTQ+ young people
* Education programs that prepare youth-serving adults with the training and resources to be allies, and promote awareness of Trevor’s services to young people

This work supporting LGBTQ+ youth mental health is life-saving. And your gift today helps make these critical programs possible. ([link removed])

P.S. Your generosity helps ensure that LGBTQ+ young people in crisis can turn to The Trevor Project for mental health support, love, and affirmation. Please don’t wait for a better time…we can have our greatest impact with your gift today. ([link removed]) Thank you!
