The U.S. Census Bureau today released five strategy documents [ [link removed] ] outlining how it plans to carry out the next decennial census. The strategies cover the Census Bureau?s approach for conducting a complete count, designing operations, developing the IT solution, sourcing contracts and engaging with stakeholders for the 2030 Census.
* *2030 Census Strategy. *Describes how the Census Bureau will accomplish its mission by building on key innovations from the 2020 Census, strategically engaging with partners, and leveraging ongoing Census Bureau innovations and existing operational and IT functions.
* *2030 Census Operations Strategy and Roadmap. *Describes the iterative process for designing how the 2030 Census will be conducted, outlines how the design process will be managed and matured, and provides a roadmap of key activities and milestones along the way.
* *2030 Census IT Strategy and Roadmap. *Documents the direction and priorities for identifying the IT components needed for the 2030 Census.
* *2030 Census Acquisition Strategy. *Describes the strategy for sourcing contracts and ensuring they?re in place in a timely and efficient manner to conduct the 2030 Census.
* *2030 Census Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.* Describes the formal strategy for communicating and collaborating with stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the 2030 Census.
