The end is nigh! The sun dims as we write, clearly our time is up.

 

That's what our kids might think if we don't keep fighting back against the far-right's war on science and our public schools.

 

This is about far more than today's eclipse though. Our students deserve the freedom to learn and right-wing extremists shouldn't be allowed to stand in the way.

 

 

The far-right is as afraid of science as their ancestors were of eclipses. They're working overtime to rewrite history, force religion into science, and ban books from our libraries.

 

We can't let them succeed.
