President Biden has declared war on American energy production. Since his first day in office, his "rush-to-green" agenda has been crushing the American worker, consumer, and our entire economy. This agenda shows just how out of touch with reality he really is.
In case you missed it, I spoke about the importance of unleashing American energy dominance and other congressional priorities – watch the highlights here:

On Biden's EV mandates
"We love our trucks here in South Georgia, and this is another example of the Biden Administration's war on fossil fuels...
"EV's (electric vehicles) are great, and there's going to be a market for EVs, and when EVs are out there and people have a choice for that, that's good...
"The real win is when we have consumer choice, when consumers have the choice, when this is market driven...
"I've been to Europe, and I've seen where they've allowed their policies to get ahead of their innovation. It causes problems. That's a lesson we should learn here in America...
"It's one the Biden Administration has not learned. It's one that's going to come back to bite us...
"When the government chooses winners and losers it never works. It has to be market driven."
On the southern border
"I've been to the border eight times in the ten years that I've been a member of Congress. The last time was six weeks ago. It is in as bad a shape now as I've ever seen it...
"Most concerning to me is that the border patrol agents tell us that the street price of fentanyl has plummeted, plummeted. It's gone from like $10 a tablet to $.25 a tablet. Which tells you, simple economics, that the supply is so high now in America, that the demand is not keeping up with it, and the price has gone down...
"200 people every day dying as a result of fentanyl poisoning. That is one of the main reasons that we have to secure that border. It's killing our people."

On Ukraine and the southern border
"We want to make sure that our southern border is secured, and we want to do that before we send money to Ukraine and to other countries to secure their borders...
"What we should be concentrating on is wins for the American people, is 'Bidenomics', is the southern border, is Biden's radical environmental mandates. These are the things that we should be concentrating on...
"What we've got to do is we've got to insist that we get money for the southern border, that we get changes in the southern border, changes in policy...
"The President can change this. He has the ability. He has the tools at his disposal to secure that border...
"He can reinstate the 'Stay in Mexico' policy. He can stop the catch and release. He can continue to build the wall. All those can be done by the executive branch, by this president...
"The amount of fentanyl that's in this country right now, coming across that border, killing 200 Americans every day, this has got to be addressed and it's got to be addressed immediately...
"All of this is unacceptable."
On Biden's Liquified Natural Gas export ban
"Let's face it, it's not a pause, it's a ban and that's what this Administration wants...
"This is another example of Joe Biden supporting Russia and funding Russia against Ukraine...
"Let's face it, when other countries cannot get LNG from America, where are they going to get it from? They're going to get it from Russia. What is that going to do? It's going to put money into their pocket, giving them the ability to fund the Ukraine invasion...
"This is another example of the poor policies of the Biden Administration that lead us to know that the world thinks of this Administration as being weak, and therefore they can do what they want to do."

On Biden's EV mandates
"Anytime the federal government picks winners and losers, consumers are going to lose, and that's what's happening right now...
"Here we have the Secretary of Transportation making a mockery out of this and making a mockery out of the American people and I take offense to that and I think a lot of Americans do take offense to that...
"There's going to be a market for electric vehicles, but it has to be consumer driven. It has to be market driven. That's what this Administration does not understand...
"There are even a number of Democrats who realize that this is just not going to work...

On the Inflation Reduction Act killing cures
"The Inflation Reduction Act, which is a misnomer, it's misnamed, it shouldn't be named that at all, but that is, without question in the 10 years that I served in the Georgia State Legislature and the 10 years that I've been in Congress, it is the worst legislation that I have ever seen, at least the prescription drug portion of it is...
"You know America is the greatest innovator in the world. We have had more innovation in America with drugs than any other country...
"I practiced pharmacy for almost 40 years. As a result of research and development, as a result of innovation, I saw nothing short of cures, nothing short of miracles, through research and development. And yet, what this legislation does, and what this President's health care legislation does, is just kill cures...
"Already, drug companies have stopped in research and development, and drugs that were in the pipeline, because of this piece of legislation...
"His whole health care record is pitiful. It is awful."
On prescription drug pricing
"I said as my focus that, when I became a member of the State Legislature and in Congress, that I was going to do something about prescription drug pricing...
"We've made progress, but we haven't made enough progress.
"The drug companies need to do a better job with their pricing. There's no question about that. I'm not going to take up for them. They need to do a better job, but that's not where the problem is...
"The problem is in the vertical integration that exists, where you've got the insurance company that owns the pharmacy benefit manager, that owns the group purchasing organization, that owns the pharmacy, that owns the doctor...
"That vertical integration results in higher drug prices and higher health care costs...
"This is a big problem we need to address in this country, but this Administration, they don't get it at all...
"What good is it going to do us to save money if we're killing cures, if we're killing innovation?"
On the Strategic Petroleum Reserves
"What the President did with the Strategic Petroleum Reserve was absolutely wrong...
"He used it for the wrong purposes. That's why we passed the Strategic Production Response Act so that any president, Republican or Democrat, has to have a legitimate reason to use it...
"In 2022 we had over 600 million barrels of oil. Now we're down to around 330 [million], and why did he use it? He used it for political gain, to bring and try to keep the price of oil and gas down...
"That's not what that was supposed to be for."
