WEEKLY UPDATE

Dear Kansas friends,

Thank you for your interest in receiving my newsletter. Please feel free to share this with your friends and family.
Congratulations, Grace!
It's such an honor to have the opportunity to nominate outstanding Kansans to our nation's military academies.

Congratulations to Grace from Olpe on being accepted into the United States Naval Academy!

Very cool to hear that you were inspired to apply after participating in an Honor Flight your sophomore year.

Thank you for making Kansas proud and for your willingness to serve our nation!

Traveling Across KS-02!
Had the opportunity to stop by G.W. Van Keppel in KCK. It was great to learn more about the industry and discuss how we can improve workforce development across our state.
Fantastic time meeting with the AP Government class at Hayden High School to talk about my work in Washington and across the Second District.

Thank you Chase for taking the time to show me around the campus!
Productive stop at the new Panasonic plant in De Soto to get an update on the project and hear more about the impact it will have on folks in the Second District.

Thanks for having me!
Small businesses are the backbone of our Kansas economy.

I had a great time hosting a small business roundtable in Sabetha to talk with folks about my work to extend Trump’s tax cuts, bring down inflation, and get the federal government off the backs of hardworking Kansans.
Headed to the State Capitol to talk with Kansas legislators about their priorities for this session.

We discussed the importance of ensuring CCP-backed companies aren’t gaining access to Kansas supply chains and crucial military bases across our state.
Standing with Kansas Gun Owners
Liberals in Washington are hellbent on shredding our Constitutional rights.

Every year, thousands of law-abiding Americans are wrongfully denied the right to purchase a firearm because of errors made by unelected government bureaucrats.

I am proud to cosponsor the Firearm Due Process Protection Act to ensure Kansans are provided a proper appeals process when they are incorrectly denied their Second Amendment rights.
Thank you, Junction City Police Department!
The Junction City Police Department seized enough fentanyl over the past two weeks to kill 1.5 million Kansans.

Mexican cartels continue to take advantage of Joe Biden’s wide open border and smuggle record amounts of fentanyl into our communities.

THANK YOU to Junction City PD and all our law enforcement officers across Kansas who work around the clock to get this deadly drug off our streets.

Catching up with Senator Roberts!
I had a fantastic time catching up with Senator Pat Roberts recently in DC.

Thanks for stopping by, Senator!
