We’re nearly there. There’s only one week to go until VegWeek 2024 and we hope you’re as excited as we are.

VegWeek will take place from April 15 - 21, 2024, in the week before Earth Day. During VegWeek, we’ll be sharing recipes, giving away prizes and celebrating our animal friends and how eating vegan is such a powerful way to stand up for them.

To help you make the most out of this week, I’m happy to share a few actions you can take beforehand.

Remember, it’s estimated that every single day, one person eating vegan saves approximately one animal life. So think about the difference we could make if everybody went vegan for a week, or even longer.

This is why VegWeek is so important, and we’re so happy to have you on board as we work to spread the benefits of veganism far and wide.

Here are some actions to get you ready for VegWeek:
1. Make sure you've taken the VegPledge
To make sure you receive all the updates next week (and to be in with a chance of winning fantastic prizes from some of our sponsors) make sure you’ve taken the VegPledge. By signing up, you’ll receive all the information plus daily challenges to complete.

If you’re already vegan, you can still take the pledge and simply select the “I’m already vegan” option under “Current diet”.

2. Empower a friend to take the VegPledge
If you’re already vegan, you can pledge to help us grow veganism by securing VegPledges from friends or family members. To sign up, take our Grow Veganism Pledge

Prizes from vegan companies are also available for those who secure the most pledges - just make sure that when the person you recruited takes the pledge, they include your first and last name in the space provided on the VegPledge.

Take our Grow Veganism Pledge and see how many people you can get to join VegWeek.

3. Share your support
Share that you’re taking part in VegWeek on social media by using our social media template images. This is a great way to share VegWeek within your network.

We’d love to see your posts - don’t forget to tag us on Facebook, Instagram, X and TikTok and use the hashtag #VegWeek2024.

4. Check out our VegWeek ambassadors
We’ve had some exciting ambassadors sign up to support VegWeek this year. As well as inspirational vegan celebrities and influencers, we also have animal ambassadors from farmed animal sanctuaries.

We always encourage supporting farmed animal sanctuaries as a great way to take action, and we’re incredibly grateful for all the life-saving work they do.

5. You're all set
Now the only thing to do is to enjoy VegWeek. During this fun, yet important, week - we hope you take a moment to celebrate how we have power with the decisions we make every single day. With every meal, we can choose kindness.

With that in mind, you can find a wide selection of vegan recipes at TryVeg to start your planning for next week.
