This community means a lot to me.
When I was growing up, my family hit really hard times. I relied on neighbors, teachers, and the entire community throughout my childhood. And in high school and college, I worked all sorts of odd jobs to support myself and pay for my education.
But because my community understood the importance of investing in high-quality public education, I became the first person in my family to graduate from high school and college.
Now, I’m in Congress to ensure that today, people in Colorado who hit hard times have every chance to succeed — with the resources they need like strong public schools, affordable health care, and access to mental health and addiction recovery services.
I’m fully committed to delivering impactful results for communities big and small across our state, and I’m proud of the progress we’ve made so far. If this is a mission you support, will you chip in today and help us keep up this important work?

I wanted to share just a handful of examples of the real, concrete progress I’ve helped bring to Colorado communities across CO-07:
* I delivered $850,000 in federal funding to build affordable housing in Leadville.
* I brought another $850,000 to Park County to improve unsafe county roadways that lead to Colorado state parks.
* And I delivered over $1.3 million to acquire and develop land that will be used as a town plaza in Silver Cliff.
These are exactly the kind of results I’m working for every day in Washington — but in this critical election year, I’m going to need your help if we want to successfully defeat the extremists in CO-07 and beyond. Please, chip in today to help me continue fighting for communities, families, and local economies across the district.
