Biden Admin. Shields Federal Employees from Possible Trump Presidency |
by S.A. McCarthy |
On Thursday, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) issued a new rule, to be added to the Federal Register on April 9 and to go into effect next month, that would shield executive branch federal government employees from being terminated for opposing a president's policies or agenda. The OPM's as-yet-unpublished rule change stipulates that certain policy-making federal employees are protected from most forms of employment termination, regardless of who is president. |

Research Bears Out the Bible's Commandments on Sex, Marriage, and Happiness |
by Ben Johnson |
American culture is built to sabotage happiness. From comparing physical appearance on dating apps, to encouraging endless obsessions over past wrongs, to doomscrolling on social media, U.S. culture bombards young people with messages that science has shown to undermine their present, and future, happiness. Nowhere is this more true than sex, where years of social science research proves the happiest people follow the wisdom laid out in the Bible. |

Nassau County Executive Faces Legal Backlash for Protecting Girls' Sports |
by Sarah Holliday |
In February, Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman signed an executive order that was intended to keep biological men out of women's sports. The order denied "permits to the county-run parks and sports facilities if the girls' and women's sports teams couldn't say all members on the teams were biological females." The decision got its fair share of backlash, including a letter from New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) demanding Blakeman rescind the order "or risk legal consequences," claiming the order violates New York's anti-discrimination laws. |

'Christ Defines Me': Half of U.S. Latinos to Identify as Evangelical by 2030 |
by Joshua Arnold |
Just as a seed comes to life where no one sees it, some of the most important developments in the kingdom of God occur out of the public eye. Demographic researchers now estimate that, "by 2030, half of U.S. Latinos will identify as Protestant evangelicals." The trend might surprise a lot of "political pundits," as FRC Action President Jody Hice suggested, but it certainly hasn't surprised the Lord Jesus Christ. |

A Double Standard in Campus Violence |
by Joshua Arnold |
Imagine the following: a pro-transgender student group set up an approved display table in their college dining hall with a reservation lasting until 4 p.m. (which won't overlap with the evening rush). The display featured posters with stories about individuals who have socially and medically transitioned, a Progress flag, and flyers claiming to show medical evidence why people with gender dysphoria need gender transition procedures to avoid suicide. |

24 Women Leave Aussie Soccer due to Injuries from, Concerns over Trans-Identifying Players |
by Sarah Holliday |
In March, controversy ensued within an Australian women's soccer league after a team with five transgender-identifying players took the field with no warning. Since adding the five biological male players to their women's team, the Flying Bats Football Club had won every game in a four-week competition, including the pre-season Beryl Ackroyd Cup tournament where they took home the $1,000 prize. One of the biological males scored six goals in the course of a single game. |

Rain or Shine, Do You Delight in What Brings God Glory? |
by Sarah Holliday |
A memorable night for me, that I didn't talk about until roughly two years ago, taught me much about glorifying God. More specifically, what it means to delight in glorifying God, even in suffering. In high school, I had a life-changing experience. Not because it was exciting, relaxing, or fun, but because of how painful it was. Painful, but necessary. And, if I could add one more thing, quite beautiful. |

by Ryan Foley |
A secularist legal group is urging the University of South Carolina to take action against its women's basketball coach over her comments about believing in God following her team's strong performance in the NCAA Tournament this year. Speaking to reporters after her University of South Carolina Gamecocks advanced into the Final Four for this year's NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament Sunday, Coach Dawn Staley reflected on "the devastating loss that we had last year." She said it "pulled us back here with a totally different team," adding, "If you don't believe in God, something's wrong with you." |

French Priest Targeted by Government for 'Homophobia' |
by S.A. McCarthy |
The French government is targeting a Catholic priest for calling homosexuality a "weakness" and declaring that homosexual acts and relationships are sinful. Father Matthieu Raffray, a Catholic priest of the traditionalist society Institut du Bon Pasteur, posted a video to social media last month encouraging Christians to fight against their sins, which he says are forms of "weakness." Among the sins Raffray named was homosexuality. He preached, "We all have weaknesses: those who are greedy, those who are angry, those who have homosexual tendencies!" |
