department that works to help low-income families have access to
safe homes and neighborhoods, and enforces the Fair Housing Act
which makes housing discrimination illegal.

Donald Trump has just appointed Ben Carson, who believes "poverty
is really more of a choice than anything else" and fair housing is a
"social-engineering scheme."

As he fills his Cabinet with the least experienced and least qualified
people for some of the most important and most consequential jobs
