Our 2024 Arlington Street Maps have arrived! The Chamber is pleased to offer our members the opportunity to distribute free Arlington County Street Maps. The Chamber has partnered with Town Square Publications to produce this street map and they are now available at the Chamber office. To request maps for your business, please contact the Chamber at (703) 525-2400 or [email protected] with the number of copies you would like, as well as the date and time you are available to pick them up. Maps can be picked up at the Chamber office Monday through Friday, anytime between the standard business hours of 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. The Chamber does not mail maps. REQUEST FREE MAPS Grand Sponsor Legislative Breakfast Recap Thank you to everyone who joined us last week at our Annual Legislative Breakfast. Nick Minock, Political Reporter with WJLA/ABC7News, moderated the panel of legislators which consisted of Senator Barbara Favola, and Delegates Patrick Hope and Alfonso Lopez. The legislators answered questions on a variety of topics, including transportation, infrastructure, and Arlington's office vacancy. Following the panel discussion, Senator Barbara Favola presented Scott McGeary of Washington Gas with a General Assembly resolution recognizing his service to Arlington and to the Commonwealth of Virginia. The resolution was patroned by Senator Favola in the Senate, and a companion resolution from the House of Delegates was patroned by Delegate Hope. View the event pictures on Facebook. READ THE PRESS RELEASE Grand Sponsor Arlington Chamber Volunteer Day Friday, April 19 | 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. Limited volunteer opportunities remain available for this annual tradition of half-day service projects throughout the community. Volunteers can join us at the Kickoff Celebration and lunch hosted by Kitchen of Purpose, where they can pick up their event T-shirts.  More than 150 people have already signed up to volunteer, but if you haven't signed up, it's not too late! There are still a few spots left for several of our volunteer projects. Four candidates for the two open School Board seats have accepted our invitation: Kathleen Clark, Larry Fishtahler, Chen Ling, and Zuraya Tapia-Hadley. Candidates will be joining the Committee, answering questions from both the Committee Chair Dr. Liza Durant and from members. All members of the Chamber are welcome to join this committee meeting.
