Dear John,

Following the success of [last year's]([link removed]) first annual [Spring Action Month]([link removed]), we are delighted to announce that between Monday 22 April (Earth Day) and Wednesday 22 May (the International Day for Biodiversity) we will again encourage our supporters to undertake various Spring Actions for Population Matters...

[link removed]
Spring Action 1: Get involved and spread the word!

Our [core focus]([link removed]) of course remains our ever-increasing human population. The negative effects of human encroachment into natural insect and animal habitats is indisputable as are the downstream effects on other species. Please review our [HumaNature campaign]([link removed]) and share our [news]([link removed]) and social media content.

Spring Action 2: Take positive steps for local biodiversity!

It's the responsibility of all of us already here to [live sustainably]([link removed]). We are mindful of the small and responsible steps we can all take to care for and protect our local environments and [biodiversity]([link removed]). Spring Action steps include planting a biodiverse garden to attract and support varied insect and animal life.

Spring Action 3: Fundraise for Population Matters!

The improving weather presents wonderful opportunities for fundraising - from [active and sporty challenges]([link removed]) to downloading our new [Pop a Bun in the Oven]([link removed]) recipe pack and perhaps holding a bake sale, or [distributing campaign materials]([link removed]) at a spring fair. Please visit our [fundraise for us]([link removed]) webpage.

We hope you'll be inspired by these Spring Actions. We really appreciate all your support whether it's acting for biodiversity, raising funds for us, or simply spreading the word.

We would love to hear about any other Spring Actions you'll be undertaking and I am here to help with any [fundraising]([link removed]) questions you may have. So please do get in touch.

With thanks on behalf of all at Population Matters,

Anthony Howarth
