IDF Withdrawals Most Troops From Southern Gaza
Fox News: The Israel Defense Forces announced a full withdrawal of ground forces from southern Gaza on Sunday, leaving a smaller force to maintain operations in the whole of the strip. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also delivered remarks at the beginning of a cabinet meeting on Sunday, reiterating that Israel would not agree to any cease-fire unless Hamas frees all remaining hostages. The bulk of the troops withdrawing in the coming days will be leaving Khan Younis, which had served as Hamas’ central bastion in the south. Israel’s retaliatory war against Hamas entered its sixth month on Sunday ( Fox News). NBC: The Nahal Brigade and the 162nd Division remain in Gaza, which the IDF describes as “a significant force” that will continue to “operate in the Gaza Strip, and will preserve the IDF’s freedom of action and its ability to conduct precise intelligence based operations” ( NBC).

Iranian Official Threatens Israel’s Embassies
NBC: A top Iranian military adviser on Sunday warned Israel that none of its embassies were safe following a strike in Damascus last week blamed on Israel that killed 12 people, including two elite Iranian generals. Regional tensions have threatened to draw the Middle East into a wider conflict as Israel’s war against Hamas marks six months. Israel has been preparing for an Iranian response to the strike without directly acknowledging its involvement. The remarks by Gen. Rahim Safavi signaled that the attack on a diplomatic mission could be met with a similar response ( NBC). Times of Israel: Meanwhile, Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said Sunday that Israel is ready to respond to any attack by the Islamic Republic, stating that Israel has “completed preparations for a response against any scenario that would develop against Iran” ( Times of Israel).

One Quarter of Muslims in UK Believe Hamas Committed Atrocities During October 7 Attack
Telegraph: Only one in four British Muslims believe that Hamas committed murder and rape in Israel on Oct 7, a major report has found. A poll commissioned by the Henry Jackson Society (HJS), a counter-extremism think-tank, found that 46 percent of British Muslims said they sympathize with Hamas. The survey, which is the largest of its kind to be carried out since the Israel-Hamas conflict began, asked a range of questions to British Muslims as well as to the general public. Its findings come on the six-month anniversary of the Oct 7 massacre, when Hamas terrorists infiltrated Israel, killed around 1,200 citizens and took 253 people hostage ( Telegraph). Times of Israel: In terms of UK government policy, the survey finds that almost half (46%) of British Muslims believe Jews have too much power. By way of comparison, only 16% of the general public agrees with this sentiment ( Times of Israel).

Houthis Launch Missiles at British, US and Israeli Ships
Jerusalem Post: The Houthis have continued to disrupt global shipping through the Suez Canal, forcing shipping firms to re-route longer and more expensive journeys, and impacting global trade. Houthi terrorists in Yemen said on Sunday they had launched rockets and drones at British, US, and Israeli ships, the latest in a campaign of attacks on shipping in support of Palestinians in the Gaza war. The Iran-aligned group said it had targeted a British ship and a number of US frigates in the Red Sea, while in the Arabian Sea and Indian Ocean, it had attacked two Israeli vessels heading to Israeli ports. The operations occurred during the last 72 hours, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said in a televised statement ( Jerusalem Post). First Post: The United States, which leads an multi-national flotilla intended to protect Red Sea shipping, has since mid-January launched repeated attacks on Houthi targets in Yemen. British warplanes have also taken part in several of the strikes. In a televised speech on Thursday, Houthi chief Abdul Malik al-Houthi said 37 people had been killed in more than 400 strikes by US and British forces on Yemen since January ( First Post).

Biden Asks Egypt, Qatar to Get Hamas to Agree to Ceasefire to Release Hostages
Townhall: President Joe Biden urged Egypt and Qatar to coerce the terrorist group Hamas into agreeing to a hostage deal with Israel as National Security adviser Jake Sullivan plans to meet with hostage families next week. According to several reports, Biden wrote letters to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, pressuring them to “secure commitments from Hamas to agree and abide by a deal.” The president deployed CIA Director William Burns to Cairo to present a potential hostage deal in order to secure the release of hostages held by Hamas militants ( Townhall). Associated Press: The White House has maintained its support for Israel amid growing domestic and international wariness with Israel’s prosecution of the war, and repeatedly said that a temporary cease-fire could have already come had Hamas agreed to release the sick, the wounded, the elderly, and young women. But the pressure on Biden has only mounted since this week’s airstrikes that killed the World Central Kitchen workers. The Israeli government acknowledged “mistakes” and announced some disciplinary measures against officers involved in ordering the strikes ( Associated Press).

Biden Considers Requiring Goods From Jewish Parts of Israel to Have Special Marks
So Biden is embracing policies from Hitler now? Algemeiner: The Biden administration is planning to require goods produced in Jewish settlements in the West Bank to be clearly labeled as coming from there as the US continues to increase pressure on Israel amid its ongoing war against the Hamas terrorist group in Gaza, according to a new report. A final decision on whether to approve the move has not been made, but its purpose would be to increase pressure on Israel over alleged violence by some Jewish settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank. Critics have argued such policies would be anti-Israel and discriminatory ( Algemeiner). Jon Levine: How many more uncommitted votes before Jews are asked to wear a yellow star ( X)? Stephen Miller: Perhaps the label can be yellow, and in a starry like shape even, so it’s bright and distinguishable ( X).

Migrants Rush to the Border Before Election Day Stating Biden Will Let Them In
Daily Mail: Migrants camped out in Mexico say they want Joe Biden to win the November election – because Donald Trump will never let them into the United States if he gets back into the White House. Hundreds of migrants are enduring the muddy, smelly encampment in Matamoros while they wait – for how long remains a question – for appointments with Customs and Border Protection. But they all have one big worry that is out of their control: If they don’t make it over the border by election day, they say they need Biden to prevail over Donald Trump – who has promised to crack down on the border ( Daily Mail). Townhall: Since day one of Biden’s term, he halted deportations, stopped border wall construction, Ended the Trump-era Remain In Mexico policy and Title 42, and reinstated a catch-and-release program. Biden has since encouraged the border crisis that has resulted in over seven million illegal immigrants entering the U.S. This number does not take into account the two million “known got-aways” who have crossed illegally crossed the southern border undetected by Border Patrol agents ( Townhall).

SEC Temporarily Stays Climate Regulation Pending Litigation
Hill: The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Thursday announced it will stay implementation of its final rule requiring companies to disclose their climate-related risks pending the results of a legal challenge from GOP-led states. The SEC said in its ruling the stay does not indicate an abandonment of the rule, which it will continue to defend against a court challenge from Republican attorneys general. The rule, finalized by the SEC in March, requires that companies disclose any risks climate change poses to their business and, in some cases, that larger and midsized companies provide information about their carbon dioxide emissions ( Hill). Wall Street Journal: The U.S. Chamber of Commerce sued over the rule and has accused the SEC of trying to micromanage companies. The rule’s reporting requirements weren’t slated to go into effect until 2026 and many businesses have been preparing to comply despite the legal wrangling. Other jurisdictions, including California, have put in place requirements for climate-related reporting from both publicly traded and privately held companies ( Wall Street Journal).

Muslim Protesters in Michigan Chant, “Death to America” During Rally
Fox News: Protesters in Dearborn, Michigan, shouted “Death to America!” and “Death to Israel!” during an International Al-Quds Day rally held in the town. “Imam Khomeini, who declared the International Al-Quds Day, this is why he would say to pour all of your chants and all of your shouts upon the head of America,” Tarek Bazzi, a Michigan-based activist associated with the Hadi institute, said in a video from the rally. Bazzi’s comments were followed by crowds chanting “Death to America!” in the background. Bazzi reasoned that the rallies held on the day “are so anti-America,” instead of a focus on Israel, because “it’s the United States government that provides the funds for all of the atrocities,” pointing to Israeli’s continued siege of Gaza as an example ( Fox News). End Wokeness: “DEATH TO AMERICA” chants erupt in the streets of Dearborn, Michigan. Meanwhile, the FBI is busy hunting down Christian grandmas in MAGA hats ( X).
