Today, on World Health Day, we're proud to celebrate the record 21.3 million Americans enrolled in Affordable Care Act plans this year, including many who are covered for the first time ever.

We reached this historic moment in huge part thanks to Lauren’s Health Care Affordability Act which cut costs and increased access to care. She’s leading the effort in Congress to make its savings permanent and she’s not stopping there.

Health care is a human right yet so many people nationwide still struggle to access even basic health care. From preventable illnesses, pre-existing conditions like Lauren’s, and chronic conditions, these disparities are unacceptable.
