USA Today: Ballot measures on abortion, marijuana could boost Florida turnout.

John, it’s official. Abortion rights and adult use marijuana are going to be on the ballot in Florida this November.

This is a generational opportunity to flip Florida and keep fascists from restricting our freedoms. When abortion was on the ballot in other states, turnout was huge — especially among young people — because we understand just how much is at stake.

I know we can take our state back from fascism, but only if we can turn out enough voters.

Our year-round organizing teams have already been on college campuses across Central Florida engaging so many new voters, but we need to kick it up a notch to set a Florida turnout record and shock the nation in November.
