As an adjunct professor of history, I had to shift rapidly to teaching my courses totally online. That was a challenge for sure, but pretty minor compared to what many folks are going through. 

I'm lucky - I'm not yet being laid off or furloughed, unlike many others. But it's a tough situation all around for many people. 

I hope you and yours are okay. I have another challenge, and I'm hoping you can help. 

Our campaign has reached out to thousands of voters and mobilized many volunteers, and very soon I will be the Democratic nominee for Congress in CA42. So now we're on to the general election, and we have a challenging and uphill struggle ahead of us. 

We can win, but only if we mobilize the significant resources needed to do that. That means organizing many more volunteers, and reaching many more voters. And part of doing all that takes money.
