Today, we made the drive from Flagstaff to Phoenix and turned in our petition signatures to get on the ballot in August!

We turned in 2,654 signatures — well over the 1,526 required! This is a huge milestone.

Turning in our signatures during a time like this is a stark reminder of what we're fighting for. Last week alone, a record 6.6 million people filed for unemployment. Hospitals around the country are running out of basic medical supplies and room for patients. So many people are suffering because our government was unprepared to handle a crisis like this.

The decisions our representatives in government make can have life or death consequences. Sadly, we're seeing it play out right before our eyes.

While we couldn't stop this virus, our government should've acted swiftly and appropriately early on. They didn't, and now it's regular people who are hurting the most. That's why it's vital we change who our country works for — that starts with electing representatives who have the moral courage to put people first.
