John, today is World Health Day, a day where health workers, humanitarians and the global community shine a light on an important health-related issue that is affecting our world.
At Save the Children, we’ve been fighting for the essential rights of children since 1919 and won’t stop until we’re out of a job because we’ve accomplished our mission to give children a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn and protection from harm.
But in 2024, conflicts like the one in Gaza are putting millions of children’s health and safety at risk. Today, we’re reaching out to share more about the Gaza crisis and how your support is powering our response.
Your support is the only way we can address emergencies like this. We are a trusted leader in this space, and will continue to save lives, but we can only do this important work with your help.
Already, we’ve reached hundreds of thousands of people in Gaza, as well as many more who have been affected by other emergencies in places like Haiti and Sudan. Together, we’ve delivered food baskets, water bottles, hygiene kits, dignity kits and more urgently needed resources.
I know this is a big ask. But we have big dreams here – dreams where we no longer exist because we're no longer needed. Will you help put us out of a job?
