Congresswoman Tenney's Weekly Newsletter   Have questions? Contact Me Here   Reality Check: NYC is NOT Safe Mayor Eric Adams claims that NYC is the safest big city in America. Yet every day, members of our community are becoming victims of criminal acts perpetrated by illegal immigrants and repeat criminals who are exploiting Democrats' ineffective bail reform. Women walking around their neighborhoods are getting punched in the face. An illegal immigrant murdered Laken Riley, and the Left's policies allowed him back on the streets following his initial arrest. A brave NYPD Officer was shot while making a traffic stop by another repeat criminal. Mayor Adams should be ashamed of himself. Fighting Against Biden's Woke Agenda Three months and 147 days have already been set aside to celebrate LGBTQ issues. Veterans aren't even recognized that many days of the year! Biden declaring Easter as 'Trans Day of Visibility,' is a slap in the face to every Christian. Election Integrity Update: Wisconsin has voted to ban Zuckerbucks! Wisconsin has voted to ban Zuckerbucks! In 2020, Mark Zuckerberg shelled out $350 million on "election administrations," with $10 million going to the swing state, Wisconsin. By banning Zuckerbucks, Wisconsin voters are sending a clear message: elections belong to voters, not out-of-state billionaires. The prohibition of private funding from influencing our electoral processes is a crucial step toward ensuring transparency and accountability in our electoral system. All states must follow their lead, and ban private organizations from funding and influencing our election administration! Visiting Hilltop Industries in Livingston County Hilltop Industries, part of Arc GLOW, a chapter of The Arc New York, provides fulfilling employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in NY-24. Arc GLOW enhances the lives of over 2,000 community members each year. Thank you to Arc GLOW's leadership members for discussing this organization's crucial role in our community with me this week! Honoring our Firefighters at the Clayton Fire Department Banquet Our team had a wonderful time at the Clayton Fire Department Banquet, where we had the opportunity to honor Reese Jenis for his remarkable achievements. It was a great occasion to commend the dedication and hard work of the brave firefighters serving our community. Thank you UltraMobile Imaging for Stopping By Thank you to Lois Irwin from UltraMobile Imaging for demonstrating the impressive capabilities of their ultrasound machine in our Victor Office. UltraMobile was founded in 1993 and is owned and operated by Lois and her husband, Will. Today, UMI continues to be a leader in mobile diagnostic imaging in our Western New York community, offering mobile diagnostic exams in nursing facilities, independent and assisted living communities, group homes, private physician clinics, and private patient residences. Visiting Great Lakes Cheese and Howlett Farms As one of the top dairy and agriculture districts in the Northeast, New York's 24th District plays a pivotal role in our nation's economy and well-being. During our visit to Howlett Farms this week, I had the privilege of engaging with Michael Howlett, the owner of this family-owned farm. We discussed the grain industry and how Congress can support our NY-24 farming community, whose work is vital to our economy. Additionally, I recently stopped by Great Lakes Cheese in Adams, New York, to see the vital contributions the 100-employee manufacturing plant makes to our agriculture community by producing cheddar cheese and dry dairy goods! I continue to be inspired by our community's hard work and dedication! APPLY NOW: 2024 Congressional Art Competition The deadline for the 2024 Congressional Art Contest is quickly approaching!
