I’ll be honest: I hate sending these emails, friends, and I know you have better things to do than read them.

In fact, Sunday is just about the worst day to send a fundraising email. Most people have logged off and are spending time with friends and family (as they should!).

So I hate to bother you over the weekend, but I’m afraid this can’t wait. If I could just have 60 seconds of your time, I’ll explain why your support of $5 or more matters now more than ever.

As I type this, the first ballots in this race are being cast and we’re running out of time to share David’s message with voters across the state.

We cannot take anything for granted right now. The polling shows a handful of votes could decide this race, which is why we’re going everywhere and talking to everyone.
