John,
January 6th was a terrible act of political violence and a failed coup to overthrow the Constitution and the 2020 election.
But Donald Trump is celebrating and honoring the January 6th insurrectionists who stormed the Capitol in his name, trying to overturn the election. He’s out on the campaign trail calling the people who bludgeoned and beat the hell out of cops “patriots.”
I’m sick and tired of far-right politicians wrapping themselves in the flag while fanning the flames of insurrection and violence. And the ones who say nothing, refusing to condemn attacks on democracy? We have a word for them: cowards.
Our freedoms and democracy are at stake in 2024. The radical right is committed to attacking faith in our elections and our democracy, including right here in Pennsylvania, because they care more about taking power.
I've worked hard to secure voting rights and our elections as a lawyer, I’ve worn the uniform to defend our democracy before, and I'll continue that fight every day in Congress. Help me protect our democracy by making a donation to my campaign today →

One thing I hear across PA-17 is fear about the future of our democracy. The radical right will stop at nothing to take power, even if that means toppling our Constitution and democracy.
I was 17 when I first swore the oath to defend our Constitution – and I never imagined our democracy would be in such peril.
But John, I'll be damned if I'm going to give up on this country of ours. It won't be easy, but democracy only fails if we let it – and I can assure you: quitting isn't in our vocabulary here in western Pennsylvania.
I’m committed to fighting for this democracy and our freedom. If you are too, join this fight by making a donation to my campaign today →
Thanks for fighting,
Chris
